Paganini Consort 


 

 

The Paganini Consort was created in 1995, sponsored by the Teatro Comunale of  Treviso and by Asolo Musica.

Its main aim is to rediscover and philologically interpret works of musicians belonging to Nicoḷ Paganini's (1782-1840) historical period. 

It is constituted by internationally successfully elements:

Franco MEZZENA (violinist), well known for is many recordings, which received several prizes, and holder of prestigious specialisation coursers in Europe and Japan, among which we can remember the Accademia Musicale Pescarese


Marcello DEFANT (violist), often requested as principal viola in such orchestras as Accademia di S. Cecilia in Rome and Teatro Comunale di Bologna, a sought after soloist and chamber music player


Walter VESTIDELLO (cellist), versatile performer and founder of the  "Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca"


Massimo SCATTOLIN (guitarist), eminent soloist, the only Italian guitarist to hold a master at the Mozarteum in Salisburgo
